MY RATING SYSTEM

I give stars to books I read based on this system.

5 stars

5 stars for a book that gave me so much feels (made me cry, giddy, sad, happy) and lack of sleep long after I finished reading it. The kind of book that I will never let anyone borrow because I’m so in love with it. Talk about possessive.

4 stars

4 stars for a book that I love, though I have little issues here and there that I can overlook, but still gave me about a week or so of book hangover.

3 stars

3 stars for a book that I like and enjoyed. Though I cannot give it a higher rating because I’ve read a book from the same genre that affected me more than this book. Still will recommend it to friends.

2 stars

2 stars for a book that I think are okay. I was able to finish it but it didn’t give me the feels that I want. This is the kind of book that other readers might enjoy but is not really my cup of tea.

1 stars

1 star for a book that I don’t really like (and might be bordering to hate). It was torture for me to read it and most probably I didn’t finish it. Even if I did finish the book, I was probably complaining the whole time.
